Abstract:

     The aim of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of a science course supported by You-Tube clips in developing,  scientific literacy and curiosity  for students teachers of  special education department.

    To achieve this aim , the researchers prepared a proposed science course , and the measurement  tools (curiosity scale and achievement scientific literacy test).the sample of the study was selected from students of the fifth level special education department- Faculty of Education . Measurement tools were administered to the research group before and after teaching  proposed course  .

    The results of the study indicated the effectiveness of the proposed science course supported by scientific You-Tube clips  in the development of scientific literacy and curiosity  among the research group.

   The researcher set a number of recommendations including importance of using scientific You-Tube clips in  teaching science courses in different educational stages
