Developing Science Methods Teaching Course in the light of the requirements of Developed science curricula  for  improving  Instructional Competences of science teacher during his preparing

     The study aimed to develop science methods teaching course in the light of the requirements of developed(improved) science curricula for  improving  Instructional competences of science teacher during his preparing

  To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher:

·    prepared the requirements of the developed science curricula (McGraw-Hill) which should be in  topics of science methods teaching course

·    constructed a proposed science methods teaching course in the light of some of requirements of the developed science curricula.

·    Prepared measurement tools (achievement test for knowledge instructional competences  and checklist card for performance instructional competences)

·    Selected the sample of the study that was from the general diploma students ( science department).

·    Administered measurement tools on the research group before and after teaching proposed course.

 The results of the study indicated the effectiveness of the proposed science methods teaching course in improving instructional competences for the  science students-teachers among the research group .

   The researcher set a number of recommendations including: Reconsidering the program of preparing science teacher and developing it in the light of instructional competences which are needed for the developed science courses
